| Beausoleil is a French commune located adjoined to Monaco. Beausoleil was created in 1904, being its first mayor Camille Blanc, who was the president of S.B.M. ( Societé des Bains de Mer, owner of Monte Carlo casino).
Casino Palais du Soleil has opened on January 29, 1907, just before the opening of his rival Casino Municipal, owned from Blanc.
Tha casino had gambling, music-hall performances, restaurant and bar.
From 1924 takes its name from Capitol as cabaret. In 1944 it transformed into hospital. In 1961 takes the name of Alcazar. It was demolished in 1976. |
