By the early 1970s, Miller (Joey) Wier was the owner. Eastman (1998) reports that gaming ended in 1996, although the bar was open until 2012.

According to The Gaming Table (2017), the Portland Card Co. (Portland, OR) shipped the "EV" Block font hot stamp SqInCr-mold chips in three colors/denominations to Everett Hallbrook [sic], 290 I Street, Crescent City, CA, in 1966. The Portland Card Co. later shipped the "Everett's" hot stamp SqInCr-mold chips in four denominations to Joey Wier c/o Pizza King, 1348 Front Street, Crescent City, CA in 1981.
