The Spielbank Bad Kissingen opened its doors on 14 July 1955 under a private concession. It was not until 1961 irregularities were found in the concession of the remaining Bavarian Spielanken - Lindau, Garmisch-Parterkirchen, Bad Wiessee Bad Reichenhall,.They were still in the same year, with the exception of Lindau (1990),assumed by the state lottery administration. Today the casino is owned by Bayerische Spielbanken. Nowadays in all BS casinos are used similar chips with generic Bayerische Spielbanken designation.
