| Jewish Social Club.In 1924, 30 Sepharadim of Santiago get together decide to found a Sephardic community. The 1924 statutes emphasize: fraternal ties between partners , support schools of Hebrew teaching; create a library; maintain a social location. In 1925 the Social Headquarters in Santa Isabel 356 was inaugurated. In 1928 dances, evenings, conferences and aid to the needy were organized, and in 1929 games of cards. In 1934 the CIS counts on 288 partners. In 1938 the card games cards are regulated.The Club Social, in Eliodoro Yañez 824, is inaugurated in 1952. In 2011 the CIS accepts the invitation of Israelite Maccabi Stadium to be installed in the Stadium at Av. Las Condes 8361 and both institutions sign a Collaboration Agreement for joint activities. |
