Patrick "Paddy" Lee, Jr. owned a tavern in Crocket and was convicted of gambling in 1954 (see "Archive").

C. W. Rice sold 1000 of these chips in three colors to Paddy Lee, Valona Hotel, Crocket, California on 2/8/1950. The hotel was owned by his father, Patrick Lee Sr (see "Archive").

Pfaender (2023) associates these chips with Lee Alsteadt, Sacramento, California, 1961-1964.
