probably a souvenir coin from the gift shop, if The Mint had one. Or some sort of prize. Brass, with bright golden finish. 1-1/2" diameter, 1/16" thick. Side 1: "The Mint / 1987 / Las Vegas, Nevada" with eagle and sunrise. Side 2: The Declaration of Independence and quill pen, "No longer just a dream / let mankind know."
