T. R. King sold 1000 large crown chips in five denominations to Brock & Stewart, the owners of the Sahara Club in September, 1959.

The Sahara Club, was just east of Visalia on Highway 198 (also called Mineral King Highway). It was open from 1941 until November 1959, when a fire extensively damaged the building. Originally owned by James A. Moye, who in 1945 sold it to Alvah Owen Ray. Ray sold the club in 1952 to Jesse E. Young, the club's final owner (see "Archive").
