Opulent nightclub with spacious gambling rooms originally co-owned by Bob Goldie (until his death in 1935), Milton “Farmer” Page, Guy McAfee, and Tutor Scherer. Briefly renamed as the "Marcel Lamaze Clover Club" in 1943, before returning to its original name. Raided in 1937, 1940, and 1946. Previously the "Sphinx Club" was at this address. It became the "Hollywood Friars Club" in 1947.
