Refrigerator magnet, 1-1/2" X 2": seals of the Luiseno Tribe and City of Temecula, Pechanga Pu'Eska Mountain Day. A mining company wanted to dig a large strip mine on sacred Pu'eska Mountain. The Indians went to the City of Temecula to stop the land grab, but the mining company went to the Riverside County Board of Supervisors. The tribe and City prevailed, then the tribe bought Pu'Eska Mountain and declared November 15 a local holiday, "Mountain Day."
