T. R. King sold 2300 of these chips in eight colors to L. N. Lee, P.O. Box 328, Guadalupe, California, on 10/14/1952.

The sale of "Chinese Dice" with these chips would seem to indicate that the hot stamp may be a stylized Chinese symbol, and that these chips were used in a Chinese gambling establishment.
