Golden Ten wasn't a brand or a casino name but the name of a game introduced by Gerard Wiggers end 1970's. It was the biggest and fastest growing type of casino in the 1980's. As there was no dress code, free food and drinks it became the most important competitor of the Holland Casino group run by the government. Avoiding the law on gambling by telling that the Golden Ten wasn't a gamble but a skill that could be learned. After many years of lawsuits, the casinos had to close mid 1990's. A brief attempt to reintroduce the Golden Ten in 2015 was quickly stopped. |
