Bar, pool hall, and licensed card room first owned by Bud Boggust and W. F. Peterson around 1935. By the late 1940s, "Boggust & Peterson" was more often called "Bud & Petes".

T. R. King sold 1000 of these large crown chips in two colors to Boggust & Peterson, 625 Main Street, Brawley, California, in 1946.
