| Partouche group.In 1882 was inaugurated the Grand Hotel de l'Ocean,du Casino and golf. It had 150 rooms, a casino, Dirty Shows and golf course.In 1907 the Grand Hotel and Casino closed its doors. Pornichet is so devoid of casino. Set in 1910 was asked the permission to build a casino, and the use the name Casino Municipal. In July 12, 1911, the casino is opened, and took the name of KURSAAL.
In early 20th century the Kursaal is a place of pleasure where could be playing Petit Chevaux and baccarat.
During the First War of the casino is used as a theater to the Army .In the end of the war he lost his name Kursaal, and star working under the name of Casino . In 1920 roulette made his apparition . Then the casino is mostly frequented by the wealthy gents. In 1926, the casino is completely renewed, with an extension that houses a cinema and a dirty dancing.
Casino Pornichet , centenary,regains its old appeal at the beginning of 1990s with the arrival of slot machines. The casino become one of the first thirty casinos in France.
