Bar and licensed card room originally operated by Henry Thompson. Thompson was shot and killed in the card room in January 1964, reportedly by a customer he had pressed to re-pay a gambling debt (see Archive).

T. R. King sold 800 of these small crown chips in four denominations to The Red Wheel, P. O. Box 3184, Poplar, California, on 1/22/1963.
