Originally owned by Owen M. Cowden, and located at 103 E. Main Street. Bought by Eugene and Phillip Baculi, Virginia Bolton, and Elizabeth Hosn in 1946, who were granted a license that year to operate six card tables at the Rex Cafe (see Archive).

T. R. King sold 1500 of these small crown chips in four colors to the Rex Club, Broadway and Main, Santa Maria, California in 1958.
