T. R. King sold 5200 of these large crown chips in four colors to Harold J. Lavick, 405 Main Street, Hayward, California, in 1948. Lavick was the owner of the "Yosemite Club" (Emeryville) until 1947 (see Archive).

Eastman's Illustrated Guide to California Card Room Gaming Chips & Checks (1998) associates these chips with the "Mint Cigar Store" at 609 Castro Street, Hayward, CA.
