T. R. King sold 800 of these small crown chips in five colors/denominations to the Nob Hill Club, 1120 East Green Street (later 1076 E. Colorado St.), Pasadena, California, on 5/7/1971.

According to the Staeffler Memorial California Card Room Guide (2020) and Armin's California Chip Guide (2021), the club where the chips were used was located in Hollywood, CA.
