There is not or ever was, a casino in Michigan called Traverse Bay. There is Leelanau Sands (opened 09/1985) & Turtle Creek (opened 06/14/1996) owned by the same band of Indian tribe. The Indians had bought a large northern Michigan resort called Grand Traverse Bay Resort. There was no casino on that property but they changed the name on the chips at the 2 casinos they owned to “Traverse Bay Casino Resorts” for a little while before changing the chips to reflect the name of the casino that they are used in.
This item was also used at these other casinos
