Reported to have been owned by Matty Matteone (The Gaming Table) or Fred Matteoni (Staeffler California Card Room Guide), who also owned the "121 Club" in Stockton. Most often referred to as "Matty's" or "Matty's Cocktail Lounge".

The large crown $5 and $25 "Matty" chips were originally sold to "Matty's Tropics" (Las Vegas, NV) and later "Ziegler's" (Stockton, CA), per the T. R. King order cards.
