The story of the casino Bad Wiessee is a success story: On the 4th June 1957 the casino opened in the former Café Bauer . Due to the increasing number of visitors, 10 years later was decided to enlarge the casino. In the summer of 1967 a new building on the lakeshore was started, which was completed in March 1969. However, this building became too small. Due to the lack of space available the casino lost its appeal with the result of declining attendance and a decline in gross gaming revenue. Since the early 70s followed the lottery management plans for the construction of a new building or extension. In May 2001, found an ideal location for a new casino with the site of the former Winner farm. The beginning of construction was in July 2003. After a 22-month construction period opened in Bavaria most beautiful and most modern casino on 5 June 2005. ( from casino site). The casino is owned by Bayerische Spielbanken. Nowadays in all the casinos from BS are used similar chips.
